RICHARD B. BEESON, JR.

Rick Beeson is the President/CEO of Park Midway Bank in St. Paul, managing assets of $250 million and growing. Rick has been with Park Midway Bank since 1988 and President since 1995. Rick worked under St. Paul Mayor George Latimer during the 1980's with the Department of Planning and Economic Development. Park Midway Bank has clearly carved out its niche in the small business, community development and not-for profit market. Its highly personal and responsive banking approach distinguishes it from other banks. Rick was co-chair of the Central Corridor LRT project and is immediate past chair of the St. Paul Area Chamber of Commerce as well as past chair of the Midway Chamber of Commerce and the District 16 Planning Council in St. Paul.

Transaction Account Guarantee Program

Park Midway Bank is participating in the FDIC’s Transaction Account Guarantee Program. Under that program, through December 31, 2009, all non-interest-bearing transaction accounts are fully guaranteed by the FDIC for the entire amount in the account. Coverage under the Transaction Account Guarantee Program is in addition to and separate from the coverage available under the FDIC’s general deposit insurance rules.
